The Legal Services Commission has amended the forms listed to reflect various changes which will be introduced on 1st April. All forms which are signed and dated on or after 1st April must be the amended forms. Old versions of these forms which are signed and dated on or before 31st March will only be accepted until 30th April after which time they will be rejected by the Legal Services Commission. Legal aid practitioners should e-mail cds-act-implementation@legalservices.gov.uk to ascertain the relevant date in their area when use of the amended versions of CDS14, CDS15 and CDS16 become mandatory. Starting with the South West region on 12th April and ending in the London area on 28th June, the Legal Services Commission is rolling out the use of CDS14, CDS15 and CDS16 across different regions on various dates. If legal aid solicitors are unsure whether a court they use belongs to a different region, the Legal Services Commission recommends that they should contact the e-mail address which is given above. As a result of these changes, CDS17 has become redundant and should no longer be used by legal aid practitioners. If you are not using Active Library, you will need to manually delete some forms.
