DIV_B - Notice of an Application to Consider the Financial Position of the Respondent after the Divorce/Dissolution - [FORMB]

Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS) revised forms DIV_A, DIV_A1 and DIV_B to reflect procedural changes which came into force on 8th January.

In particular, HMCTS has amended these Divorce forms as a result of a widening in the list of people who are exempt from attending the mediation information and assessment meeting (MIAM) which the Civil Legal Aid (Procedure) (Amendment) (No.2) Regulations 2017 introduced on 8th January.

Although HMCTS will continue to accept the old versions of the DIV_A, DIV_A1 and DIV_B forms until 12th January but not thereafter, divorce practitioners may prefer to use the latest versions of these three Divorce forms for applications completed on and after 8th January.

Forms DIV1, DIV1_Expandable and DIV25 have received minor amendments and can be used immediately.
