CON30 - Legal Charge

The Land Registry has made some minor amendments to the side panels on LREX1 and LREX1A to remind practitioners to exclude any exempt documents which may be open to inspection by the general public.

Although the Land Registry will continue to process the existing versions of LREX1 and LREX1A, subscribers to this range may prefer to use the latest versions of LREX1 and LREX1A from any applications which are submitted to the Land Registry on and after 30th August.

On EFIS No.54 in May, we notified subscribers to this range of a series of amended forms which the Land Registry made as a result of the relocation of their scanning centre from Coventry to Gloucester on 27th May.

Although we understand that the Land Registry organised a temporary redirection of applications submitted on old versions of the amended forms from Coventry to Gloucester, these older forms will no longer be automatically redirected on and after 1st September when the old scanning centre at Coventry becomes a school

In order to avoid delays processing priority applications, we therefore suggest that Oyez's customers should only use the latest versions of the amended forms which were updated on EFIS No.54 for applications which are made to the Land Registry on and after 1st September.
