Following the House of Lords decision in Stack v. Dowden, the Land Registry has amended the details on the information panels on forms LRADV1, LRAS1, LRAS3, LRFR1, LRTP1, LRTP2, LRTR1, LRTR2, LRTR5 and created a new LRJO form under section 100(4) of the Land Registration Act 2002. The new LRJO form is a voluntary form which can be used as an alternative means for joint owners to declare the trusts or to provide details of an existing declaration of trust. As a result of changes to its website, the Land Registry has also amended details on all of its other forms. None of these amended forms can be used before 15th October.
