This disk encloses the Legal Aid Board’s recent amendments to APP3, CLAIM 10, MEANS 1 MEANS 1 The Guide, MEANS 3 and CHECKLIST 3.

In addition, however, we do enclose four new forms which the Legal Aid Board require Practitioners to use from 28th September.

Means 1A is the new form to be completed by the self employed. Means 1B records information provided by partners in a business and Means 1C solicits information from legal aid applicants who either hold shares in a company or are directors of a company. Finally, the Legal Aid Board have drafted a form for use by duty solicitors who agree to changing the times on which they will be on duty.

Separate alterations have also been made to APP6 which are unrelated to the above amendments.
