The Legal Aid Board have amended APP1 and APP6 to take account of the withdrawal of medical negligence as a category for work for legal aid franchises.

Instead, the Legal Aid Board have introduced two new forms to deal with clinical negligence cases.

APP12 is an application for legal aid in such cases. APP13 relates to an application amending or seeking prior authority in legal aid cases concerning clinical negligence.

In a completely separate series of amendments, the Legal Aid Board have amended the forms listed below to enable practitioners to sign and date these notices.

LA7 - Notice of Discharge or Revocation of (Emergency) Certificate [LA7]
LA8 - Notice of Extension/Amendment of (Emergency) Certificate [LA8]

CLAIM 10 and APP2 are also enclosed on this disk, having had minor amendments to each form.
