Pursuant to the information previously supplied to you on EFIS 129/2018 last November, Oyez has now created the new statement of truth forms listed to replace the current forms of oath Probate 4, 4b, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 16.

After the Non-Contentious Probate (Amendment) Rules 2018 came into force on 27th November 2018, Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS) notified District Probate Registries (DPRs) of amendments to these forms.

Oyez's understanding is that the DPRs have continued to accept the existing forms of oath during a transitional period to the new procedure(s).

Subscribers to this range are therefore invited to use the new statement of truth forms in place of the forms of oath immediately.

In addition, we have amended PRO32 to refer to 14 days instead of 8 on the current version following amendments to this time limit which the Non-Contentious Probate (Amendment) Rules 2018 introduced last year. There were no field amendments to the PRO32.
