In his autumn statement last November, the Chancellor of the Exchequer confirmed that the Land Registry would not be privatised but would instead remain in public ownership. As part of its rebranding exercise to reinforce its position in the public sector, the Land Registry has amended all the forms listed by reinstating the prefix "HM" on its forms. Although the Land Registry will continue to accept the current forms indefinitely, conveyancing practitioners can use the latest versions of these Land Registry forms from 3rd April. The only field amends to the Land Registry forms was to LRCOG1, for details of these please go to: www.oyezforms.co.uk/fieldchanges Please also find form 29(SUPP), CON292 and CON294 which have been amended to include field labels.
