EFIS 4, February 2008 : Conveyancing
You must login to download the contents of this EFIS.
We have added a new enquiry VI to the leasehold enquiries section of CON29(L).
This new enquiry concerns the delivery of a Stamp Duty Land Tax return to H.M. Revenue & Customs in respect of a lease of the property.
We have also inserted a reference to energy performance certificates in enquiry 14(B) on page 3 of the form.
An energy performance certificate is required for home information packs (or HIPs for short). On 14th December 2007, the Government extended HIPs to one and two bedroom properties.
Conveyancing practitioners can continue to use the current edition of CON29(L) but may prefer to use this latest version of CON29(L) on receipt.
We have also taken this opportunity to update enquiry 4 (c) on CON294 to refer to the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006.
We have also amended HIP1 and HIP2 which the Department for Communities and Local Government has updated in accordance with the Home Information Pack (No. 2) Regulations 2007.
Finally, forms LRFR1 and LRFR1-Flexi have received minor field amendments.
All forms can be used immediately.
