CON59 - Conveyancing Check-list: Steps to be taken for the purchaser

We have amended these forms to take account of the new commonhold regime which was introduced on 27th September 2004 under the provisions of the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002.

CON28B has been updated to include specific requisitions concerning the receipt of information relevant to a commonhold unit and commonhold community statement.

CON58 and CON59 now incorporate instructions relating to a conveyance involving a commonhold property.

Although practitioners can continue to use the existing editions of these forms for transactions which do not involve commonhold properties, we recommend that you use these updated forms on receipt of this update.

Finally, forms CON41A, LRTP3-Expandable and LRTP3NOPOP-Expandable have had minor amendments and are available for your immediate use.
