On EFIS 33/2005 in June, we explained that the Legal Services Commission would be amending the above forms as a result of New Focus and Funding Code reforms.

Legal aid practitioners must not submit the amended versions of these forms to their regional offices until 25th July when the forms become mandatory.

Old versions of these forms will be rejected after 25th July.

More detailed information concerning the background to these amendments can be found on pages 2-3 and page 20 of April's edition of the Focus magazine (number 47) which the Legal Services Commission regularly produces for legal aid practitioners.
