CIVAPP8 - Application for Amendment or Prior Authority in Civil Cases

The Government released the Civil Legal Aid (Merits Criteria) (Amendment) Regulations on 21st July and which came into force on the following day, 22nd July.

Because these 2016 Regulations amended the criteria which the Director of Legal Aid Casework must apply when determining whether an applicant qualifies for legal aid, the Legal Aid Agency amended the CIVAPP1, CIVAPP3, CIVAPP6 and CIVAPP8 forms listed.

Although the Legal Aid Agency will continue to process existing versions of these CIVAPP forms until transitional provisions end on 19th August, subscribers to this range may prefer to use the latest versions of the CIVAPP1, CIVAPP3, CIVAPP6 and CIVAPP8 forms immediately.
