D650 - Notice of application to vary or set aside a financial order (Form E calculator error)

Last EFIS release: 8/2016 (January 2016)

Form status: New/Amended

In December we advised subscribers of an error in the Government's online version of Divorce Form E which in no way affected Oyez's version of Divorce Form E.

On 22nd January, the Minister gave a written statement to Parliament in which the Government explained how many cases were affected by this error which occurred from April 2011 until January 2012 and which also remained undetected from April 2014 until 10th December 2015.

This Ministerial statement can be read by following the link below at:-

The Government has now released an amendment to Form E and created the new form D650.

D650 can be used to apply to vary or set aside a financial order which was significantly affected by the fault in the Ministry of Justice's online calculator of Form E.

Subscribers to this range are advised to use this latest version of DIV_E, but only to use the new D650 form where a Court order adversely affected their client's financial interests as a result of the online fault version in the MoJ's version of Divorce E.
