LRID1 - Certificate of identity for a private individual

HM Land Registry have updated the listed forms, details are as follows:
• The LRCNG has been revised, the biggest change being that the list of evidence acceptable to support an application made on this form has been expanded.
• The LRID1 and LRID2 have had minor changes made as a result of the amendment to form LRID3 and the withdrawal of form LRID4. Panel 4 has also been amended to clarify that, if the application is being lodged electronically, a scan of both sides of the photo also needs to be lodged.
• Amendments have been made to the LRID3 following a review of the policy regarding the authorised professions of those who are able to verify identity. The ability for authorised professionals to verify identity by video has also been removed.
• The LRID4 is no longer available therefore it has been withdrawn from the library to avoid accidental use.
• Amendments have been made to the LRID5 to replicate some of the amendments which were made to forms LRID1 and LRID2 in January, following the agreement that CLC-regulated licensed probate practitioners can verify identity even though they may not be conveyancers or solicitors.

These forms are available for immediate use, previous versions will continue to be accepted indefinitely.
