HA31_A - Application referring a notice proposing different terms for an assured tenancy arising by way of succession under the Rent Act 1977 or the Rent (Agriculture) Act 1976 to the tribunal in the private rented sector (Form 2A) [LTA2AE]

The listed forms have been updated and now apply to social housing assured tenancies where the landlord is a private registered provider of social housing, that are rented under either an:

• assured tenancy


• assured shorthold tenancy


• assured agricultural occupancy

These forms can also be used when a Section 8 or Section 21 notice for a privately rented property was served before the 1st of May 2026 as long as the circumstances outlined here apply.

In addition, forms HA30_A, HA31_A, HA32_A, HA33B_A, HA33C_A and HA38_A have been added to the library and apply to assured tenancies and assured agricultural occupancies in the private rented sector in England. All forms are available for immediate use.

Please note, due to the constraints of the new layout of the HA32 we are no longer able to offer this form in Expandable format, therefore please use either the HA32 or the HA32_Word. The HA32_Expandable has been removed from the library to avoid accidental use.
