The BASPI has been updated to incorporate the information required by the National Trading Standards Guidance for the Material Information required under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 to be provided when advertising the property. It is only the answers which are relevant to the property that need to be included in the material information disclosure. Later in 2023 the National Trading Standards Estate and Lettings Agent Team will confirm the finals parts of the guidance. It is hoped that the BASPI will capture all the information required from the seller and the HBSG will consult on the BASPI content again in November 2023. This form is now available for immediate use.
