HM Land Registry have updated the guidance notes for LRID3 and LRID4 to confirm that the parties involved in a transaction cannot verify each other’s identity, the verifier must be independent of the transaction to be registered. These forms are available for immediate use, although the previous versions of the forms will continue to be accepted.
