EFIS 43, May 2019 : Conveyancing

You must login to download the contents of this EFIS.

HM Land Registry (HMLR) has amended the side notes in panels 12 and 17 of FR1 for use from 13th May

In particular, these changes emphasise that panel 12 must be completed, regardless of whether or not the applicant is relying on title documents or only on a statutory declaration or statement of truth and also to remind conveyancers that where the applicant is lodging certified copy deeds, a certificate must be completed and submitted to HMLR.

Whilst Oyez understands that HMLR will continue to accept the existing version of FR1, practitioners may prefer to use the latest version of FR1 for applications made on and after 13th May.
