EFIS 27, April 2019 : Civil Procedure
You must login to download the contents of this EFIS.
HMCTS has amended N11, N120 and N180 to reflect the implementation of the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) last May.
In addition, Practice Direction 51X specifies the procedure to be followed for a pilot scheme for summary assessment of costs which will run from 1st April until 31st March 2021.
In particular, PD51X provides for two new forms which perform the same function as the existing N260 form.
N260A can be used as part of this pilot scheme when costs have been incurred on an interim application.
N260B can be used as part of this plot scheme when the costs have been incurred up to trial.
Civil law practitioners who want to use N260A and N260B should familiarise themselves with PD51X which requires the use of an electronic spreadsheet in certain situations e.g. where a costs management order has been made.
Although we are making the N260A and N260B available as excel sheets to all customers, they can only be accessed if you are running OyezForms version 11.02G or higher. If you are running any version before this you will not be able to access these forms. If you have any queries please contact our Support Desk on 08450 17 55 17.
N260A and N260B should only be used in accordance with the criteria contained in PD51X on and after 1st April.
