EFIS 36, April 2017 : Insolvency Individual Voluntary Arrangements

The Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2016 will come into force on 6th April and introduce sweeping amendments to the conduct of insolvency proceedings.
These 2016 Rules revoke and replace the Insolvency Rules 1986 and in particular, the 2016 Rules prescribe the contents of forms rather than their actual wording.
We have removed the existing forms in this range because the High Court has not yet replaced these forms with any new forms which may have to be used under the 2016 Rules.
Meanwhile, Oyez recommends that you do not use any of the existing forms in this range for new insolvency proceedings which are commenced under the 2016 Rules.
Subscribers to this range are strongly advised to check the transitional arrangements contained in the 2016 Rules for the circumstances in which the old forms can still be used on and after 6th April.
