Companies House has amended the existing LP forms LP5 and LP6 and created two new forms LP7 and LP8 to reflect changes to HM Treasury legislation which will be introduced on 6th April.

These changes will enable a new or existing limited partnership to be designated as a private fund limited partnership (or PFLP for short).

The new LP7 form can be used to register a limited partnership as a private fund limited partnership whilst LP8 can be used to apply for designation as a private fund limited partnership under section 8D of the Limited partnerships Act 1907.

Subscribers to this range should only use these new and amended forms for applications made on and after 6th April.
