The Legal Aid Agency has amended the civil legal aid TFF form which must be used on and after 1st April.

The AF1(SP) form is a new form which the Legal Aid Agency has designed for use online.

Although the Legal Aid Agency has also amended LF1(SP), version 3 of LF1(SP) will not be compulsory for use on and after 1st April.

However, the Legal Aid Agency would prefer criminal legal aid practitioners to use this latest version of LF1(SP) to reduce the risk of rejection due to incomplete information being provided.

None of these three forms should be used before 1st April.

Finally form CIVCLAIM1A has received minor macro amendments and can be used immediately.
