On 11th January, the Minister for Immigration announced the Government's intention to increase the fees payable for certain applications on 18th March.

On 26th February, the UK Visas and Immigration Section of the Home Office confirmed details of new application and service fees.

The Immigration and Nationality (Fees) Regulations 2016 will come into force on 18th March and on 6th April in the Isle of Man.

The UK Border Agency has indicated that the forms listed below are affected:

EEA(EFM), EEA(FM), EEA(PR), EEA(QP), FLR(AF), FLR(BUS), FLR(DL), FLR(FP), FLR(LR), FLR(M), FLR(O), FLR(P), NTL, SET(AF), SET(BUS), SET(DV), SET(F), SET(LR), SET(M), SET(O), TD112, TOC, TIER1(ENT), TIER1(ET), TIER1(ET)(REG), TIER1(GE), TIER1(INV).

Until we can supply you with the amended forms, immigration practitioners should check which fees are payable on or after 18th March and submit the correct payment to the UK Border Agency. Although existing versions of these forms will be accepted until 7th April, we understand that the correct fee must be paid when submitting the current forms.
