EFIS 29, March 2016 : Divorce

You must login to download the contents of this EFIS.

On EFIS No.8/2016 in January, we advised you that the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) had created a new form D650 to enable applications to be made to vary or set aside a financial order which had been obtained by relying on the MoJ's faulty online version of Form E.

On 22nd February, the Justice Secretary, Michael Gove, gave a written Ministerial statement admitting that a similar problem had arisen in relation to the MoJ's online version of Form E1.

The MoJ has drafted another new form numbered D651 to enable parties to apply or set aside a financial remedy caused by the faulty calculation in the MoJ's online version of Form E1.

Subscribers to this range are invited to use D651 for any clients who may have relied on the MoJ's flawed version of Form E1.

In addition, we have also supplied you with the latest version of DIVD151 which the Ministry of Justice amended towards the end of last year.

Subscribers to this range are also requested to use an amended version of EX160 which the Ministry of Justice recently updated.

Finally, DIV_E is available which has received a slight macro amendment.

All forms should be used immediately.
