EFIS 3, January 2016 : Conveyancing
You must login to download the contents of this EFIS.
On 20th November 2015, the Land Registry announced a change in its policy for posting warnings of cancellation letters to its professional users.
From 11th January 2016, the Land Registry will stop sending warning of cancellation letters by post when professional users have not fully replied to a requisition within 15 days. Instead, the Land Registry will only distribute such letters by e-mail and will not specify which requisitions remain outstanding.
The Land Registry has amended all the forms listed as a result of these changes in its procedure for sending requisitions to conveyancers.
Subscribers to this range should therefore use these amended Land Registry forms for relevant applications and notices submitted on or after 11th January 2016 but not before this date.
