The Land Registry has amended LRID1 and LRID2 because a number of additional organisations have been given the authority to verify identity in conveyancing transactions.

These professional bodies include CILEX, the Chartered Legal Executives, and officers of the armed forces who are serving overseas.

In addition, the Land Registry has taken this opportunity to re-design panel 2 on LRID1 and LRID2 to make it easier to complete.

Subscribers to this range should use these latest versions of LRID1 and LRID2 from 7th April.
