The Ministry of Justice has made a variety of miscellaneous amendments to the Civil Procedure forms listed as a result of the latest update to the Civil Procedure Rules which came into force at different times in April.
The Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007 (Consequential, Transitional and Saving Provision) Order 2014 came into force on 6th April. The Ministry of Justice has amended some of the forms to reflect a change in terminology.
The other changes to forms concern the introduction of the single County Court on 22nd April.
EAC1 is a new form to apply to the Court Business Centre either for a first certificate to act as an enforcement agent or to renew such a certificate. EAC2 should only be used to object to the fitness of an individual to hold a certificate as an enforcement agent.
Subscribers to this range should use the amended forms immediately.
