EFIS 20, March 2014 : Conveyancing

You must login to download the contents of this EFIS.

On EFIS No.6/2012 in February 2012, we added the Land Registry's new LRRQ form to this range which the Land Registry had created to counter property fraud.

The Land Registry has now designed a similar new form, LRRQ(Co) for use by companies to apply for a restriction to be entered on the Land Register.

This new form LRRQ(Co) should only be used for applications made on or after 17th March.

In addition the Land Registry has amended the existing LRRQ form to enable it to be delivered via the Document Exchange or by e-mail.

Although the Land Registry will continue to accept the existing version of the LRRQ form, conveyancing practitioners may prefer to use the latest version of the LRRQ form from 17th March onwards.

Forms affected

LRRQ Request for a restriction by owner(s) not living at the property New/Amended
LRRQ(Co) Request for a restriction by a company New/Amended
