In October last year, the Government announced that the contracts for providing tenancy deposit protection for assured shorthold tenancies had been extended for the existing sponsors of these schemes.
Following the extension of its existing contract from April 2013 to April 2018, the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) conducted a review of its existing rules. AGREE22 has therefore been amended in the light of TDS's revised rules which came into force on 1st April.
AGREE23 has also been amended in the light of similar amendments to their existing scheme rules which the Deposit Protection Service also introduced in April.
Finally, the Deposit Protection Service launched a new insurance based scheme in April to protect the deposits paid by tenants under an assured shorthold tenancy. AGREE24 is a new form which has been created for use under the Deposit Protection Service's new Insurance based scheme.
All forms can be used immediately.
