The Lasting Powers of Attorney, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Public Guardian (Amendment) Regulations 2013 amended the statutory waiting periods in respect of the listed forms on 1st April.

Although we recommend that practitioners use these amended forms, transitional provisions will apply for a period of six months after 1st April so existing forms can be used until 30th September.

We have also taken this opportunity to supply you with amended copies of OPG120A and accompanying notes which the Office of the Public Guardian recently updated.

Form OPG102 has received slight field amendments.

All forms can used immediately.
