As a result of implementing a new information technology system for processing Trade Marks, the UK Intellectual Property Office intends to redesign all its Trade Mark forms in response to feedback from customers and practitioners.

Phase one of this new system will be introduced on 11th February.

Although the current editions of TM5, TM7, TM8, TM8(N), TM9, TM9C, TM9E, TM9T, TM26(L),TM26(O), TM26(R), TM31M, TM33, TM33(P), TM35, TM36, TM53 and TM55 will still be accepted until 31st May, intellectual property practitioners may prefer to use the amended forms from 11th February.
