EFIS 58, October 2012 : Immigration - Applications

You must login to download the contents of this EFIS.

INFORMATION ONLY - NO FORMS TO IMPORT

On 29th June, the UK Border Agency announced that any application for further leave to remain in the UK would be refused where an applicant had overstayed in the UK by more that 28 days.

Although this change in the Immigration Rules came into force on the 9th July for the family migration route, the UK Border Agency delayed introducing this change to the Immigration Rules for all other routes until 1st October.

The UK Border Agency has now amended the following immigration forms to reflect these changes in the Immigration Rules from 1st October: TD112, TIER1(GENERAL) TIER1(GE), TIER4(C) and TIER4(G).

More detailed information can be obtained by visiting the UK Border Agency's website at www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk

We will provide you with these amended forms later this month.
