***INFORMATION ONLY - NO FORMS TO IMPORT***
On 9th February, the Minister of State for Immigration announced the Government's intention to increase the fees payable for visa applications to the UK Border Agency.
The Immigration and Nationality (Fees) Regulations 2012 will come into force on 6th April.
Details of the new fees payable from 6th April can be downloaded from the "Fees for our services" page of the UK Border Agency's website. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/aboutus/fees/
The UK Border Agency has indicated that the following Immigration forms will be amended to reflect these increased fees:-
FLR(BUS), FLR(O), TIER1(GENERAL), TIER4(G), TIER4(C) and TOC.
Until we can supply you with the amended forms, immigration practitioners should check which fees are payable on or after 6th April and submit the correct payment to the UK Border Agency. Although existing versions of these forms will be accepted until 27th April, we understand that the correct fee must be paid.
On 15th March, the Minister of State for Immigration announced further changes to the Immigration Rules which will also come into force on 6th April. Please refer to the news item dated 28th March on the UK Border Agency's website.
In particular, the Government intends to close the TIER1(POST_STUDY) path and introduce a new TIER1(Graduate Entrepreneur) route for immigration.
We will supply you with any new and amended forms when all the relevant details are known.
