You must login to download the contents of this EFIS.
For administrative purposes, Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs (HMRC) has added a second certificate to the back of these Stock Transfer forms to enable Registrars to fulfil their statutory obligations under section 17 of the Stamp Act 1891.
Although current editions of CON40, CON40G and CON40H will still be accepted until 5th September, the latest versions of all three forms can be used from the start of the new tax year on 6th April.
More detailed information about the background to these changes can be viewed on the 'What's new?' section of HMRC's website at http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/news/changes-stock-trans-form.htm
On EFIS No. 6 in February, we supplied you with the Land Registry's new LRRQ form which the Land Registry has drafted to counter increasing levels of property fraud.
Following feedback which the Land Registry has received, on the use of this new form in practice, the Land Registry has made some minor amendments to their LRRQ form.
Although the Land Registry will continue to accept the original version of the LRRQ form, property practitioners may prefer to use this latest version of the LRRQ.
Please also find attached CON4A which has received some minor field amendments and can be used immediately.
