The Companies Act 2006 (Annual Returns) Regulations 2011 amend the information which must be contained in a company�s annual return which is filed at Companies House on or after 1st October 2011.

Companies House has amended AR01 and its continuation sheet AR01(CONT) in accordance with these new regulations.

Company law practitioners should continue to use the current edition of AR01 for companies submitting a return date between 1st October 2009 and 30th September 2011 because Companies House will not accept the amended version of AR01 for a return date before 1st October 2011.

Conversely, Companies House will only accept the latest version of AR01 where the return date falls on or after 1st October 2011.

Please also find available an amended version of the COSC1 which has received enhancements due to customer comments. This form can be used immediately.
