The Law Society�s new Conveyancing Protocol updates the 1998 Code for Completion by Post on 1st April.

We have amended the reference to the 1998 Code contained in requisition 7(D) of CON28B for completions occurring on or after 1st April and in enquiry 12B on CON29(L) for preliminary enquiries raised on or after 1st April.

Also, we have made a minor amendment to the Signature Clause option which affects forms LRAS1, LRAS2, LRAS3, LRCH1, LRDS1, LRDS3, LRTP1, LRTP2, LRTR1, LRTR2, LRTR4 and LRTR5. The forms themselves have not changed.

All forms should be used immediately.
