The Non-Contentious Probate Fees (Amendment) Order 2011 increases certain fees payable in non-contentious Probate matters arising on or after 4th April.

The Schedule to this 2011 order increases the fee payable on the PROPEP sheet from �40 to �45 where the value of the deceased�s estate exceeds �5,000. PROPEP is used in conjunction with forms PRO4, PRO4B, PRO5, PRO8, PRO9, PRO11, PRO12, PRO13, PRO14 and PRO16.

The marginal note on PRO37 which refers to payment of a prescribed fee has been increased from �5.00 to �6.00.

Probate practitioners should not use the 2011 edition of PROPEP and PRO37 before 4th April.

Please also find available PRO6 and PRO8A which have received slight alterations. Both forms can be used immediately.
