EFIS 79, December 2010 : Conveyancing - LS Transaction
You must login to download the contents of this EFIS.
At October’s annual general meeting of the Law Society’s Property Section, the Law Society announced the launch of a new Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) which will be based on changes to the Law Society’s Conveyancing Protocol (or TransAction scheme).
In anticipation of the launch of CQS in January, the Law Society has requested Oyez to delete the current TransAction logo which appears on the TransAction forms.
Conveyancing practitioners should therefore use these modified versions of TA0, TA00, TA1, TA2, TA4, TA5, TA6, TA7, TA8, TA9, TA10, TA13 and TA15 in January when CQS is launched.
Finally, the Law Society has asked Oyez to consider publishing Model Planning Agreement form (MPA1) which will be of primary interest to planning and property solicitors, solicitors in local government and in-house solicitors involved in property development.
This Model Planning Agreement form (MPA1) will provide a basis for negotiating planning agreements with local authorities and help to standardise planning agreements. If you would like more information, please contact Legal Software Sales on 08450 175517.
