On 22nd November, the UK Border Agency increased the fees which are payable in respect of certain applications submitted on the COA, FLR(BID), FLR(BUS), FLR(M), FLR(O), FLR TIER1(HSMP), NTL, SET(BUS), SET(DV), SET(F), SET(M), SET(O),TD112, TOC, TIER1(GENERAL), TIER1(POST_STUDY), TIER4(C) and TIER4(G) forms.
Immigration practitioners should therefore check the UK Border Agency’s website at www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/aboutus/fees for further information as the UK Border Agency may require the correct fee to be paid before processing the existing form.
On 26th July, the Minister of State for Immigration announced that new English language requirements will come into force on 29th November.
It is therefore possible that the forms listed above may change again when the English language test is introduced for the spouse or partner of a non European migrant who has already settled in the United Kingdom.
We will supply you with the amended forms as soon as possible but the effect of the UK Border Agency’s decisions may delay the process of publishing these updated forms in December.
