Following last year’s extensive changes to this range of forms which the Companies Act 2006 introduced on 1st October 2009, we have republished form CO34 to send to Companies House when filing the accounts of a dormant company.

The new Companies House form AA02 for dormant companies should only be used for dormant companies which have not traded since incorporation whereas form CO34 should be used for companies which became dormant after they started to trade.

Chapter 8 of the Companies House Guide called GP2 lists the relevant circumstances in which accounts should be filed on behalf of dormant companies and can be downloaded from http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/about/pdf/gp2.pdf

This form can used immediately.
