The Legal Service Commission has amended CDS2 and CDS7 to reflect amended references to the 2010 Standard Crime Contract which was previously the Unified Contract (Crime).
In particular, legal aid practitioners will note that CDS5A is a new form which the Legal Services Commission has produced under the new provisions of the 2010 Standard Crime Contract.
The Legal Services Commission has changed the address panel on CDS13 to refer to its office in Nottingham where the processing work is now handled, and changes have been made to the amounts of contribution to legal aid.
The amended versions of CDS2, CDS7, CDS13 and new form CDS5A cannot be used before 14th July but all forms which are signed and dated after 14th July must be the latest editions of these four forms.
However, current versions of CDS2, CDS7 and CDS13 which are signed and dated on or before 13th July will be accepted by the Legal Services Commission until 13th August after which date they will be rejected.
The Legal Services Commission has also made a minor change to accommodate prison law claims on CDS18.
Please also find available form CLSCLAIM2 which has received a slight macro amendment.
Finally, the Legal Services Commission has discontinued LADSOL, which has been withdrawn from this range.
