The Lasting Powers of Attorney, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Public Guardian (Amendment) Regulations 2010 amend EP1PG and EP2PG following a consultation process which the Office of the Public Guardian originally published in December 2009.

These 2010 Regulations will come into force on 1st May, so practitioners should not use the latest versions of these forms before this date.

Although regulation 8(2) of the 2010 Rules allows existing editions of EP1PG and EP2PG to be submitted to the Office of the Public Guardian until 1st November, practitioners may prefer to use the amended versions of EP1PG and EP2PG from 1st May.

We have added COP29 to this range which is a notice advising a defendant of a date to hear an application for a committal order for contempt of court.

Finally forms LPA PA, LPA HW and OPG102 have received some minor amendments.
