Companies House has drafted new Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) forms to reflect changes which the Companies Act 2006 will introduce on 1st October.
Where possible, we have tried to indicate which new forms replace existing forms but where this does not apply, practitioners should assume that a new form performs a new function under the 2006 Act.
We have also taken this opportunity to update references on Oyez’s own LLP forms LLP1a and LLP1c to refer to the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Although LLP1a and LLP1c can be used immediately, none of the new Companies House “LL” forms should be submitted before 1st October.
Transitional provisions may enable the old LLP forms to be used for matters begun before 1st October but practitioners should consult the Companies House website at www.companieshouse.gov.uk for more detailed information.
Please note: Old LLP forms must no longer be used after 1st October and therefore have been flagged as obsolete forms. These forms will not be available on your File > New menu. You may access these forms by selecting 'show all revisions including pre-release and obsolete forms' for matters begun before 1st October.
