The Family Proceedings (Amendment) (No. 3) Rules 2009 and the Family Proceedings Courts (Miscellaneous) Amendments (No. 2) Rules 2009 amend FL401 on 1st September to coincide with the implementation of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 2008.

Section 4 of FLGN has been revised to take account of changes made to section 2 of the Children Act 1989 by the insertion of section 4ZA by the 2008 Act.

The current editions of FL401 and FLGN should not be used after 31st August and the latest editions of FL401 and FLGN should not be used before 1st September.
