The Community Legal Service (Funding) (Counsel in Family Proceedings) (Amendment) Order 2009 amends the system for the payment of graduated fees to counsel for their work in family proceedings from 4th August.

The Legal Services Commission has amended CLSCLAIM5 to reflect these changes and created separate guidance on the use and completion of CLSCLAIM5.

The latest version of CLSCLAIM5 should be used for all claims submitted on or after 4th August.
