The Family Proceedings (Amendment) Rules 2008 prescribe new Family Law Act 1996 forms for use from 25th November 2008.
FL401a is the new application for a forced marriage protection order made under the Forced Marriage (Civil Protection) Act 2007 and Part 4A of the Family Law Act 1996.
This numbering has led us to re-number the existing non-prescribed Oyez form FL401a, as FL401SR to avoid confusion with this new type of application.
FL402A is the notice which an applicant should serve on the respondent, the person who is the subject of a forced marriage order (if not the applicant) or any other person directed by the court.
FL403A is the new application to vary, extend or discharge an order which has already been granted in existing proceedings.
FL407A is the application for the issue of an arrest warrant in respect of a forced marriage protection order.
FL430 is the new application for leave to apply for a forced marriage protection order and FL431 is the new application for someone either to join or cease to be a party to forced marriage protection proceedings.
All forms can be used immediately.
