EFIS 59, December 2007 : Conveyancing
You must login to download the contents of this EFIS.
On 12th December, the Secretaries of State for Children, Schools and Families for Innovation, Universities and Skills and for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Order 2007 will come into force.
As a result of this Statutory Instrument, the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry will transfer its functions to the Secretary of State for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform.
These changes have led the Land Registry to amend the wording in Certificates B and E of their LRCIT form.
The Land Registry will continue to accept the current version of Form LRCIT after 12th December but conveyancing customers might prefer to use the latest version of LRCIT.
We have also taken this opportunity to amend enquiry 2 (B) (i) of CON28B to make it more consistent with regard to enquiry 2 (C) (i) on page one of the form in relation to insurance certificates.
Both forms can be used immediately.
