The Civil Proceedings Fees (Amendment) Order 2007 and the Family Proceedings Fees (Amendment) Order 2007 increase the threshold from £15,460 to £16,017 above which an applicant will not be eligible to claim Working Tax Credit on or after 6th April.
Her Majesty’s Court Service (HMCS) has therefore amended the notes which accompany EX160 by deleting reference to the gross annual income figures altogether.
Practitioners should only use these amended notes to complete EX160 in applications submitted on or after 6th April.
We have made a small adjustment to note 6 of the Divorce Petition notes which practitioners use to complete Oyez’s Divorce Petition forms DIV1 to DIV5.
This minor amendment makes it clear that, to the Petitioner’s knowledge, no other child (or children) has been born during the marriage and reflects the wording which appears on the General Divorce Petition, DIV6.
We have also taken this opportunity to enhance the automation on DIV_E and to correct the alignment of text on DIV101.
All forms can be used immediately.
