The Legal Services Commission has amended the above forms to take account of procedural changes which will be introduced on 1st April.

The CLSAPP8, CLSCLAIM 4, CDS8 and CDS13 forms can be used on receipt of this update and must be used from 1st April.

The amended versions of CMRF, CDS6 and CDS7 should not be used before 1st April when the new Civil and CDS codes will become compulsory to use.

The table below is taken from the Legal Service Commission’s letter to suppliers which is dated March 2007 and explains when old and new codes should be used.

The field amendments to all forms are minimal except for CDS8 which contains extensive field amendments.
