EFIS 3, February 2007 : Divorce

We have made a small amendment to paragraph 11 for forms DIV3 and DIV4 to refer to �the� Petition rather than �this� Petition.

This amendment better reflects the wording of section 1(2)(d) of the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973.

Forms DIV1 and DIV2 are not affected by these changes. DIV5 and DIV6 already incorporate the relevant wording.

Practitioners can continue to use the current editions of DIV3 and DIV4 but may prefer to use the amended editions.

We have taken this opportunity to make field amendments to DIV_E forms.

All forms can be used immediately.
